The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has stated that it would not intervene in any dispute between (Bermuda) Government and the call-back telephone company, GlobalTel. The situation appears to be that court proceedings first need to be brought and if successful, then the FCC would act. Hence it would appear that Government will have to go it alone to thwart the GlobalTel approaches.
