GlobalTel Direct Dial User Manual

A touch-tone phone is required; On pulse phones turn the tone/pulse switch to "tone" after you dial the access number.

1. BASIC DIRECT DIAL OPERATION
a) Dial the Universal International Toll Free number +800 0000-xxxx - or local Toll Free number; Enter your ACCOUNT CODE followed by the key, and you will hear: "Welcome to GlobalTel, please enter the phone number to call followed by the key." You now have a line to make all calls as if you were calling from the US.

All Direct Dial calls must be dialed as international calls. The IAC (International Access Code) is the number dialed from each country to place an international long distance call. For example, in North America (The US & Canada) the IAC is 011, in Asian countries it is 001, and the common IAC for most European countries is 00. Japan, South Korea and a few other countries have more than one IAC.

IMPORTANT: Entering the Pound Key after dialing your number speeds the connection of the call. Entering + disconnect the call.
